The last week in April 2010 was “one for the ages” for gourmet delights purveyor, Gooden Sweet Gourmet Treats. The Austin-based family-owned GSGT is home to the most exquisite cookies known to man, according to CEO Sean Gooden. “It’s The Original Square Cookie. And, quite a few people have taken notice. Over a week in April 2010, three NFL players signed endorsement deals with Gooden Sweet Gourmet Treats. Starting with Kasey Studdard (Houston Texans), the signing continued with Chris Houston (Detroit Lions) and finished on Friday, April 30th, with Quan Cosby (Cincinatti Bengals) rounding out the parade of initial signees.
