After our interview on the Dudley and Bob Show, we were contacted by The Austonian (www.theaustonian.com). They wanted us to create a product exclusively for their new homeowner’s housewarming gift baskets. After a few meetings-of-the-minds and delicious taste tests we reached an agreement, and the Gooden Sweet Gourmet Treats Austonian Dozen–15 cookies instead of 12–was born.

The last week in April 2010 was “one for the ages” for gourmet delights purveyor, Gooden Sweet Gourmet Treats. The Austin-based family-owned GSGT is home to the most exquisite cookies known to man, according to CEO Sean Gooden. “It’s The Original Square Cookie. They taste so good because we use a 23 year-old secret recipe and only the best, all-natural ingredients to make them.”

And, quite a few people have taken notice. Over a week in April 2010, three NFL players signed endorsement deals with Gooden Sweet Gourmet Treats. Starting with Kasey Studdard (Houston Texans), the signing continued with Chris Houston (Detroit Lions) and finished on Friday, April 30th, with Quan Cosby (Cincinatti Bengals) rounding out the parade of initial signees.
